From what I've seen a very ordinary bunch of contestants. This show will suck.

...Though according to the Foxtel TV Guide it gets nasty and some of the girls still aren't speaking so that might make for good tv.

I'll bet half the fights are staged and the rest are not even remotely interesting. At least wth the US one you could picture some of the girls as models, whereas these one all look like scrubbers.

They look more like barmaids than models. Not that that is a bad thing. Most models are pre-pubescent, titless and empty-headed.

It's hard to find beauty in an industry run by gay men, so it's no surprise so many models look like 13 year old boys.

The 3 american versions were the only reality tv i liked. From what i have seen of the promos for the Oz version some of those finalist wannabees wouldn't make a semi final on the USA version along with the Model (?) judge.

I hate the host, Erika Heynatz, of Australia's version. Tyra is an internationally successful model, who actually doesn't try to hard on the show. Erika's already coming across as so try hard in the promos.

Oi you are so right about Janice - she's the sorta chick you wouldn't pinch a beer off. Tho I have seen her on some other talk type shows and she's really funny and sends herself up. :)

It offended me so much I could no longer watch. No real competition stuff this week, more of the selection and Heynatz looking like she wasn't born female...

I so wanted to bang Norelle. Don't ask me why, cos she's as dumb as they come. And what was with them picking Toccara for the final 12? Apart from one girl, she was 50lb heavier than every sing girl. WTF?

I wasn't planning on watching it but curiosity got the better of me - talk about clueless - don't these dummies read & watch what REAL models do and look like! It's good for a laugh! Should be telecast on the Comedy Channel.

My favourite bit was the host saying how hard it was to walk and unbutton a jacket at the same time.
The final 10 chosen were criminal selections, clearly done by chicks and gay guys. If that's the hottest Australia can provide maybe it's time to move.
There were heaps hotter chicks in the auditions but they were knocked back because they were too short, too thin or too pretty - in other words, not a 6'5, 35kg skeleton with acne that looks "edgy" with make-up.
As my mates and I were saying the other night - someone should make a show where 3 average blokes are the judges, and all they do is make suggestive comments to the contestants and quickly boot anyone who isn't hot. Every guy in Australia would watch it.
It offended me so much I could no longer watch. No real competition stuff this week, more of the selection and Heynatz looking like she wasn't born female...
I am glad im not the only one who thinks that.

Oh my god. What a disaster of a show this is turning out to be.
Are they looking for Australia's Next Top Model or Australia's Next Top Feral Skank? So many of the girls are just vile or have serious personality disorders!
My other things wrong with it:
A) Have they not seen the orginal version? It's not about trying to be shocking and watching skanky girls swear a lot.
B) Probably the show's number one problem - Erika Heynatz... god this woman's awful. She's not that attractive, she's a hopeless host and she's trying to get across this attitude that just comes across as a horrible bitch.
C) They ditch a girl who they say has the best style, personality etc because she's too short to be a model, well this was known before she made the final! If she couldn't do anything about it then why put her in?
And on a side note, is anyone else scared for that Nicole girl - she's not exactly screaming stable.

Yup. The annorexic with the massive esteem and boyfriend issues. The way she was shaking with tears when she was in the bottom 2, I thought she was going to have a complete freak out. Actually was a great photo of her though.
Shannon's quite attractive. Most of the girls are really plain though.
For the first time I can remember I think this is one train wreck tv show I'll actually not be able to keep watching. I seem to have developed an Erika allergy.
I laugh at the way they've already set up the series' villain in Sam

Glad didn't "see" Brazillian if u get my drift tho wud have made interesting viewing for some!!!! And wot about those free drinks with the Sydney Swannies boys - talk about lowering ones standards, could have been worse it could have been theNRL Sydney Bulldogs ;)

That anorexic chick that was crying like a refugee at being in the bottom 2 was a joke - she should go and eat a pizza.
There was one dark headed chick who looked like a real attention seeker girly tosspot - her name escapes me at the moment.
The dark chick was quite tidy though, I must admit.
