I just thought i would let u guys know exactly how lucky u are to have picked up Jarred Moore. He is an absolute superstar. He dominated the National U/18 championships and is a ready made AFL player.
He is very similar to Sam Mitchell in a lot of respects which perhaps provides reason for some clubs reluctance to draft him.
IMO he was worthy of a top 10 pick at least. I saw him play a lot in the TAC cup and he is almost a class above.
He was centre in the TAC cup team of the year and made U/18 All-Australian.
So congratulations Sydney on a truly great draft pick. I can assure u that u have got a bargain.
PS refer back to this thread this time next year when he has a National Bank Rising Star Award to his name. :)

Will be a solid player at best.

I doubt he'll play a senior game next year thanks to the club's policy not to play first year rookies unless forced to. Still hopefully he'll turn out alright from 2006 onwards.

I have seen him play twice, and i stand by my comment.
Nothing is wrong with being a solid player, but Moore won't be anything more than solid.
Bigger kids do better in the juniors because there opponents are mostly sticks.
If his back doesn't come back to haunt him, he should be a good player, but he won't be great.

I'm feeling confident that my earlier predictions will be proven accurate. I can't wait to u guys see how good he is.
I just hope Roos plays him throughout the year.

Judging on three games that I've seen, I think he'll be better than just solid.

Fair call.

Well he certainly impressed me on Saturday, I think I'll start believing the hype now, Moore seems to have the ability and talent to become a top class player.
Will be a Daniel Harris type player but can kick goals...
PS: Not as good ;)

I thought he looked pretty good, very composed and hard at it for a 1st year player. Will suit the swans game plan and the SCG. Needs to work on his kicking though, big time.

You were not at Telstra Dome on the weekend , you know?? that party or Henry's (More's) Mate calling out his name every time he went near the ball??

Unfortunately wasn't me because i didn't go to the match. However, if i was there i'm sure i would have quite annoying with my persistent support for Moore.
How many games do you guys think he'll play this year?
IMO he has the talent and body size to play between 12-16 games, but with Roos' reluctance to subject his young stars to the best too early on in their careers i feel he may only play a handful of games.
