Given that I can't think of an occasion where this has happened....I would doubt it !

Pretty sure we can trade a pre-season pick (not that we had any this year!) in the following year. However, you cannot trade a rookie. eg. We couldn't have upgraded Parker at the end of this season, then on-traded him to Freo.
