Call me a noddy-antidote :p - here's 6 things that unexpectedly brightened my day in the last few weeks.

1) The courtesy of drivers and shoppers in the Central Market before Christmas.
2) The people down the road who put dinosaur skeletons on their roof. I don't know why they do it either.
3) Going to Strathalbyn for the first time in my life.
4) Having a brilliant risotto at Gusto in the Parade.
5) Finally getting the hang of making good coffee.
6) Finding the sweet spot on my 3 wood consistently.

5) The occasional school kid chick at the supermarket who is
ACTUALLY helpful...few and far between, but still they are there!

3) The loved ones in my life being happy.
4) Not being beeped at whilst in the car to make me hurry up at a stoplight or intersection.
5) Living in a humane country that is relatively safe and peaceful.

I used to be a heavy smoker, but I only smoke now when I drink. However, watching a co-worker cough up a lung during a smoke break still brings back happy memories.

I used to smoke, can't deal with the smell of it anymore.. If I go outside at tea breaks for a walk or something, all I can smell is smoke, I swear everyone you walk past in the city smokes and basically blows it in your face.

Actually Skippy that should have been no1 on my list as well just think it's bloody terrific the way us ordinary Australians have put our hands in our pocket & given so generously for the appeal. :)

1 - hearing from mine or russ' family and also from friends (either email or phone)
2 - being reminded that humans can be nice and care about each other (what is happening now is sad but also makes me happy to see how we care and can put aside these stupid differences that should not matter at all)
3 - my dog (miss him ever so much)
4 - getting a letter or a card in the mail
5 - a 'you look nice' comment from russ
6 - sex is ok too

Absolute gold! I've been scouring DVD sites in the US and Canada for the series, but to no avail. One of my favourite sequences was when he was stranded in the desert somewhere with no water:

"I'm so thirsty I could drink the sweat of Patrick Ewing... I'm so thirsty I could suck the moisture out of a peep-show janitor's mop!"

Just brilliant. :D

As for Naked News, The Man Show and Real Sex... what ever are you talking about, my good fellow? ;)

I really need to get Fox. Is it free or do you need to squint? The Man Show sounds a little suss.
