View Full Version : How will these Magpies go in 05???
I run a competition called the Super League which simulates AFL players redrafted into other sides, and a point system with the Champion Data system, and win loss with other competitors in the league.
Players I have from your side in my Super League are as follows;
Ben Johnson, Brodie Holland, Cameron Cloke, Chris Tarrant, Brent Hall, Chris Egan, Travis Cloke, Adam Iacobucci.

The one's highlighted won't do anything, well for Collingwood anyway, they will most likely be in Williamstown, or the Williasmtown 2nds.
T-Clo may get a game too. Even though his brothers were held back in the seconds for a year or more, Travis is more advanced for his age and may get picked this year for a couple of games.

I dont think he will. School is a priority for the Clokes.

They have honestly got to be some of the dumbest people around. Actually I can only speak for David and Jason. Heard either of them speak?
My cousin went to school with Jason. He ran out of class once when the teacher asked him to read. Absolute nuffas.

In the cloke family the older you are the dumber you are.
Julie and David are absolute nuffas, Jason likewise.
Cam's not so bad, but still not all there.
Trav, still a little slow but at least he can string a sentence together.

Johnson: Set for a huge year. 2nd in the 2004 Copeland
Holland: Ditto. Fitter then ever and is becomming a real team leader
C.Cloke: Another pre-seasson should give him more run in his legs. Look out!
Tarrant: Set to return to 2003
Hall: May surprise some and play a bit down at CHB in 2005. Exciting prospect.
Egan: Won't play in 05, needs more weight
T.Cloke: Won't play in 05 due to school commitments.
Iacobucci: Could surprise. A chance for 15 games in 05
Interesting. Below is what I think of the players which were mentioned.
Ben Johnson: Average player.
Brodie Holland: Id say he used to be a fairly competitive player, lost it all now.
Cameron Cloke: Possiblity to be good.
Chris Tarrant: Outstanding.
Brent Hall: Not too special.
Chris Egan:Young, lots of time to improve.
Travis Cloke: So-so
Adam Iacobucci: Can be good

Very, very bloody harsh on Johnno.
As for Broadie, I think it is the other way around. I think he has improved alot since he joined the club and is an underrated part of the midfield.
Sorry mate. I guess you have a point! Brodie doesnt seem to stand out for me these days as he used to, thats all!!

Ben Johnson is the leagues best kept secret. Attacking linebreaking speedy and evasive defender/midfielder...and a great work ethic to boot. Oh and did I mention hes been a Collingwood fan all his life! Blokes like him and Licca are the fabric of the club. Why any real Collingwood supporter would talk him down is beyond me...
