Same here. Well one of a few.
9 teams with two Magpies and 2 Bulldogs.
Nth Bendigo used to be the Bulldogs as well. Kennington Strathfield were the Saints. Anyone remember Northern United ?

I played Juniors with Kennington (same team as Adam Simpson), They folded when I went to play thirds :( , I then played for Northern United who folded the following year. :( .

Who was coaching Northern United when they folded ?
At one stage they were almost unbeatable.

Tony Southcomb, was coach of the seniors, and I was only playing thirds.
I came after their glory days of the mid 80's it would be over 10 years ago now.

yeah I have heard of Northern United but now they are with Calivil United. :)

I had some mates that played for Northern Unitied but were originally from Calivil. Good cricketers too.

Start an SANFL topic on the AFL board and it's off to the regional leagues board. But jesus, the bendigo ********en footy league, big time, keep it on the AFL board.
