One of the questions is mine. Won't let you know which though. You guys should try submitting some questions. Apparently the odds are pretty good you'll ge a response seeing that this is the first time I did it. :)

I noticed that the team has picked up a lot of players that a have a reputation for being tough at the ball and man in both the national draft and rookie list. Does this reflect a change in the game play around the club for the future? Jim
I wouldn’t say that it reflects a change in our play Jim. I think we have always been hard at the ball, but to include players of that caliber to our list, will certainly give us a boot in the hardness area. The big fellas like Meeson, Maric and Gibson all enjoy the tough stuff, so it will be good to have them around the place.
Have you gotten over your injuries from last year? Kieran McGill
My hamstring had healed Kieran. I have rejoined the main group and doing all the training. Touch wood I don’t strain it again.
Who of the newer players do you think is looking the goods for selection in the 2005 premiership team? What is your prognosis for this year and are you likely to stay in the half back/ back pocket or are you looking to ignite a career in the forward line? How many goals have you kicked for the Crows? Wes
Wes, I think that all our drafted players could make the step-up and play AFL next year. I don’t want to put any pressure on them, but they have all handled the training and all look capable of playing next year.
I think that I would stay in the back lines this year. I would love to play forward, but I think my best position is down back. That won’t stop me from sneaking forward and having a few shots on goals though.
I have kicked 42 goals in my career.
What do you remember from that day of your first ever AFL game with the Crows against the Bulldogs in Round 1 1992. And would you ever have thought back then during that day you'd be a 2-time premiership player and still around 13 years later. Good luck next year. Paul
I remember that we played in front of 42,000 people Paul and it was quite an experience for someone at my age. Unfortunately we got done on the day, but it was still memorable. I think when you first start playing you don’t think of how long you could play for. You just aim to play each week and to play as well as you can.
Hello Ben, you had a pretty bad year injury-wise in 2004. Do you think you'll be able to play most of the games in 2005? I think with you and Mark Stevens make a world of difference to the side when you are on the field. Jason
My aim is to play every game this year Jason. I have done all possible to overcome my injury and it is now feeling really good, so hopefully I can have an injury free year.
How do you think the Crows will go next year, and what do you think of the draft and the Rookie selections? Denise and Ian Watts
Denise and Ian we are confident that we can turn around last year’s disappointing result. At this stage of the year it is a little hard to predict, but we have worked very hard over the pre season and there is a very positive feeling amongst the players. I think our draft selections are very good. We have replenished our big man stocks and added some talented midfielders, which were two areas that needed boosting up.
Hi Ben, I was just wondering, which of the new Crows players do you think will be the main one to watch out for in 2005? Jane
All of the new players have been impressive Jane, but if I had to pick one I would say that Nathan Van Berlo has really stood out. He is super fit and his work on the track has been excellent.
Do you ever want to move anywhere else than the backlines? Oliver Graham
I would love to have a run on the wing Oliver, but I think we have enough players to fill that role. Like all defenders, I would enjoy a run up forward, but I think for the structure of the team, I will probably remain down back.
Do you harbor ambitions to play further up the ground in the last few years of your career - perhaps wing or even a run in the forward line? David
David, a run in either of those positions would be great.
