View Full Version : Dan Cullen
Well every other young spinner in the country gets a thread started on them. Having only seen him bowl once and not seen Krezja, he actually flights and spins the ball, so he's above White and Hauritz in that category and while he's probably the worst batsman of the lot he has tryed (and failed) to save a few of SA's innings in a Dizzy style way.
Now i know my fellow South Aussies believe in him (As Vics like White and WA likes Casson) but what do the horribly biased against him feel ( you know who you are)
Like you I have only seen him once. But he looks impressive. Would rather wait until next season before wrapping him. Everybody in SA was wetting themselves about Cosgrove this time last year and now look at him. Would have been dropped by know if we didnt have the batting depth of a kiddy pool. Also heard Cullen had developed a reasonable doosra as well. A handy lower order bat as well looking at some of his scores.

That fact that he isn't from NSW means that he'll be judged on merit, and that's fine by me.

He knocked Lehmann over in grade cricket around his legs the other day.

And Lehmann believes he is the best young spinner in the country.

So do I, and I've seen quite a bit of him. He'll play for Australia for certain, and is maybe even being considered for the Ashes tour.

Yeah I've seen a bit of the guy as well and he does have a future. I strongly doubt however he'll be considered for the Ashes tour as he still has four or five spinning options currently in front of him.

Well that aint hard, considering when Lehman plays a leg side shot he exposes all of his stumps by walking two metres off the side of the pitch
