The Skipper agrees with me
"Asked how Adelaide's notorious fans would respond to Rehn, Ricciuto said: 'If they have got any respect, they should give him a good welcoming.
'He's done a lot for the club and will always be remembered as a great Adelaide Football Club player.'"

Crucial words are "if they have any respect"......
Trouble is, I think the players (including and mainly Roo himself) are too close to Rehn. When they played the Hawks in Tassie, Bickley was the only player to give Rehn a good biff to remind him who he was playing.
Look at the way the Carlton players treated Hamill the other day... now that's what I'd like to see at Footy Park on Sunday!!!

Very different situation
Hamill left for purely financial reasons
Shaun left to get his hunger back.
I don't mind the players giving him a bit - that's fair enough
But Booing is just poor form
He gave us the world in 97 and 98
Remember 95 and 96 when he was out. We were terrible. Same in 99.
Will we boo Picciaone ?? I doubt it
What about Matty Collins from Melbourne?
Sean Wellman?
NO
Rehn should be no different.
Please don't compare Wellman, Piccione and Collins with Rehn. Wellman and Piccione didn't have a choice. They were traded. Collins was a Victorian who had strong personal reasons to GO HOME.

I think you should all BOO Rehn, and further more yell a few expletives at him as well!
Here is a bloke that left your club and never gave a full reason to his supporters as to why he was going and he still won't talk about it. In his last press conference at the Crows he just basically read what he had on paper and left. He was glad to not be a Crow anymore.
And now he sue's not only the AFL, the SANFL but also the Adelaide Football Club (your'e club). He doesn't care for any of you anymore, you Crows supporters are just soft.
Boo him, he doesn't deserve you praise.
Take no prisoners. Whilst he did assist us in winning two premierships, it was here who walked out, not the club sending him on his way. And what did we get, a prepared statement read out. He is in their colors, not ours. If you make your bed you must lie in it.
