I was home in Charlton over the holidays and everyone is pretty excited about getting Rick on board. Have you seen him play? I've heard good things about him. Go the Navies in 2005!

Yeah charlton will enjoy the recruiting of rick... hopefully his feet aren't too bad and will be able to play midfield... That said i think we will be missing a few other players which will make a dent in the side...

teaching at boort and playing at charlton? why couldnt boort of got him, they are still struggling. st arnaud has signed a decent coach and should go well this year, with a few players back.

do charlton still have Dell?

Boort are still struggling a bit but are getting much better, watch them to improve greatly this year.. Yeah i thought the same thing... I thought boort would have had him signed up before he got the job ;) Otherwise i would have been saying find somehwere else...

Not sure but i think at this stage Dell is still going to be playing for Charlton... Got some big offers from BFL clubs last year but i think he'll stay at Charlton for at least one more year...

Delly will be staying at Charlton... He loves it there... the reason Rick Andrews is playing for Boort and not Charlton is because Navy scouts have had their eye on him for some time and it was just a matter of him securing employment a little closer to the Friendly River Town on the Calder

yeah dell is very decent full back and a feared man on the field i can tell you. what is the story with tim hill? is he playing vfl this year because he didnt get drafted?

Someone said birchip recruited a fairly decent playing coach this year and paid the price. whats the story there?

Birchip has recruited Robbie Lee a former player who won a league medal when he was only a young bloke so i imagine he would have come at a cost... As for Dell... I tell u what there are times when u are glad that he is on ur side, well except for at training ;)

good luck to him, hope he goes alright.

What are your thoughts on Trav Baird in Brisbane, do u think he will go any good?

And will Josh Finaly play Bendigo Pioneers all year or for Charlton?

i think that finley will end up playing more footy for the pioneers this year... this is gunna be his make or break year in becoming an AFL footballer... Hopefully he has a good year in Bendigo...

And as for Wyche and Nathan Wallace... They've lost O'Bree so thats a massive loss for them...

Yes but the inclusion of Wallace who should be at his peak this year should counteract the loss of o'bree

I guess that depends on what u rate more... High quality midfielders or high quality ruckmen... Good luck to Wallace though i hope he goes well... Although Wyche is gunna have problems in the not too distant future...
