Given that we are a week away from being flush with probably our best lot; who comes in and who goes out?
This would be the side Id pick come finals time against Richmond*....
F => Jarman Perrie Vardy
HF => Welsh Stevens Bickley
C => Johnson Ricciuto Eccles
HB => Hewitt Smart Burton
B => Edwards Bassett Hart
R=> Clarke Goodwin McLeod
I=> Shirley Biglands Stenglein Gallagher
Others => Beinke Byrne Robran Crowell McGregor Marsh Ladhams Doughty Shir Skipworth
Ayres is not likely to play Robran or J Gallagher even if they are fit is he?
The only player I struggled with for Robrans inclusion was Welshy, although hes done nothing wrong.
I think he gives more of a contest than Robran.
I think Marsh will miss out although he could be a good tall 3rd option on a dry day.
What do you think :confused:
Preety good side there, dont know about Eccles though.
How far away is James Gallacher?? :(

Evidently, hes a "test" but I read somewhere that because he is so young he's likely to be given more time than is the norm.
He'd be better off runnin in the SANFL another week given that Ayresy leaves"ins"on the bench until they can nearly hear the club song:eek: :eek:
What dont you like about Eccles QT?
Eccles is a very good player when he's not injured and would certainly be in our best side. Topjars, your side looks good to me, as you said, Marsh could be the only other player to come in if we decide to go with 3 talls. Think we should forget about Robran. Bode is the other possible there for your list too. Otherwise the side looks good.
With Stevens and Stinger out this week for a rest, who do we think will come in?? Maybe McGregor for Stevens at CHF, Clarke should get a run, while Gallagher is now fit. Reckon if Gags and Clarke are in our best side, they'd need a run in the team this weekend. Thoughts??
I'd be getting Gags onto the ground as soon as possible. Back luck for Marsh to have to miss out but Biglands has taken his opportunity so good luck to him. Marsh may get a guernsey if we play Richmond and line up against Ottens.
IMO Burton should be playing further up the ground either on a wing or forward flank. Also swap Perrie to the other pocket. I can't stand watching him kick at goal from that side of the ground.

ABC news tonite suggests Robran and Clarke will push for selection to replace Stevo and Stinga:eek:
If that happens, I just hope Ayresy starts Robran and runs him for at least 3 quarters. Its time Robran proved to one and all that his contract is worth fulfilling next year.
Why is Robran much maligned? I just think he goes missin when the game needs him to stand up and be counted.
As for my choice of Burton playin off the backline Spogs? Hes a ball carrier that really creates an attack; was my thoughts on him playing here; not to mention a tall option with spring in defence
:p
Hell Im annoyed at Jarmans effort of late.
I know hes a matchwinner but if he's got any aspirations of PLAYIN next year he'd want to pull his finger out of his ring and show us his true class:mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:
