I was just wondering what position did Aaron Fiora generally play last year? I didn't really take to much notice of him last year...:o

Mostly off the half-back flank from memory.

Basically he was played out of position
He was a receiving midfielder never a defender, Grant Thomas sticks him on a wing and he clocks up 19 possessions in a shortened game
Genius

Pretty much the thing that had been so obvious to us for years! He still has chicken legs and muppet arms though!

He played in the back-pocket.

With left-footer Tivendale on that wing Fiora had his spot blocked. We had absoultely no-one who could run the ball out of defence and so needed someone to be a rebounder and Fiora got the gig.

He actually did reasonably well, played some good games. Just wasn't worth persisting with both him and Tivendale. One had to go and we worked it to get Simmonds for Fiora.

He's a talented player who underperformed like most players, because I club was run by a pack a retards lol. I hope he does well, because I'm sure he would have been very handy under Wallace as a wing/forward.
