West Coast: Michael Gardiner, Chris Judd, Daniel Kerr, Tyson Stenglein, Chad Fletcher, Jeremy Humm, Mitchell Morton, Josh Wooden, Mark Seaby, Damien Adkins, Daniel Chick, Rowan Jones, Mark LeCras, Quinten Lynch, Beau Waters, Darren Glass, Daniel McConnell, Ashley Sampi, Ashley Hansen, Andrew Embley, Kasey Green, Adam Selwood, Brett Jones, Adam Hunter, Michael Embley, Brent Staker, David Wirrpunda, Jaymie Graham

Well Gardy's back!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its great to see his name on the list and hopefully he can make it through safely

Seems like we will only rest Cousins and Banfield this week and that Judd should play and captain the team

Three guys could possible make their debuts too, M.Embley, Morton and LeCras but i think we will only play Embley

The thought of Gardy playing his first real game back on a bumpy Marrara track is giving me nightmares.

For mine we should keep him on ice and play Seaby and Embley Jr in the ruck.

Embley Jr is looking the goods. Any Swan Districts fans should be salivating at the thought of him playing for your 1sts this year.

i can't see Braun's name either. Is he injured or just being rested?

Considering he has only ever played Colts before and even then never picked up many possesons, I was beginning to wonder about his talent.

I didn't notice that he wasn't named. I haven't heard anything about him being injured so my guess is he has been rested too

Fact is that Marrara has a better surface then Subi and with the heat, less chance of soft tissue injuries.

I reckon this is the best spot for his first competetive hitout.

Doesn't mention braun's injury on alf.com.au (ahahah alf!, no problem!)
Gardiner, new face Mitchell Morton, Josh Wooden, Damien Adkins and Adam Selwood have come in for Drew Banfield, captain Ben Cousins, Dean Cox (cheekbone) and Michael Braun.

Mind you, it was good to see some of our old reserves players in Williams and Morrison in the best players for the wobbles last week ;)

You obviously weren't at the Eagles Intraclub scratch match a few weeks back. M Embley looked very very good... Haven't seen a big guy take 1 grab marks like that since Travis Gaspar made his debut.

Reading the paper today - they reckon Banners is resting out of respect for his age......makes me feel almost old !!!

Hope Cuzzy makes it back soon.

Good to see Adkins back too, especially against his old club.

Not too bad...Matera, McDougall, Cousins, Braun, Cox and Banfield are just about the only players from our best 22 not playing.

Oh and Butler? Whats up with him? Is he injured?

I was there but I was also talking about before this season. By the way Frank, long socks and shorts is never a good look. ;)

Reallly!!!! Different ground, different year, different team, same result.

as with the derby, I don't care about the result.

Just want to see some of the young blokes get a run and get back to Perth without injury.

We'll take care of colonwood during the season when it matters.

Hopefully, it ends up at least half as good as last Wizard cup when we played the Pies :D
