Hi folks
I was trying to remember something the other day. Some years ago, in the interim between Port's successful tender for the AFL license and it's eventual manifestation as the Port Power, I believe that Port registered four potential nicknames as trademarks before deciding on the Power. I remember hearing this on KG & Cornesey's radio show, back when it happened. One of the nicknames was Power - obviously. I think, but am not sure, that a second was Pirates. I have no recollection of the other two, except that one was a "normal" nickname (like an animal) and the other was another space-age americanised nickname (like Power - no offence intended).
The two dollar question is this: Can any of you remember what the 4 registered nicknames were?
Cheers.
