Will Essendon win this year's flag after avoiding the club they fear the most?

The Bomber form tonight was worse than could be expected even by those using the conspiracy theory.

I know we'll be accused of whingeing, but right now, I couldn't give two hoots.

The Blues are now forced to play the Swans or Crows next week. Even if we can overcome those sides who we've had trouble with this year, we face a second week sudden death encounter against the Power or Lions on their own turf.

I'm starting to feel quite ill. Bet ya Sheeds is laughing his head off!

i was practically killing myself last night, i couldn't go and check the scores on the radio for fear of hearing what i didn't want to. instead i waited and watched waiting for essendon to playlike a side deserving the top spot, coz the way they played they looked like a bottom 8 one!
next week will be my last match this year because on the 13th i'm going to europe, i was looking forward to an essendon vs Carlton friday night final, what could be better (besides a GF) as a last game!!! but no, richmond and essendn had to ruin it for me, atr least now i don't have to worry about missing the GF, *sigh* i spose we could still make it, we beat port at home b4 and brissie should beat them... and then we'll have to play the dons, or richmond i spose, in the prelim... it could happen, i wouldn't get my hopes up but it still could happen!!!
