Firsly Clarke took one which looked out. Ponting appealed yet the Shep didnt go to the 3rd umpire :confused:

Next Clarke bowled, Rory took what looked like a catch on the reply. Ump gave him out, Gilly ran towards him yet he batsman didnt go. Again no 3rd ump and Sheppard just continued to stand there waiting for the next ball. :confused:

If in the opinion of the umpire there is ANY doubt he CAN go to the 3rd umpire.
