According to 774 ABC, "Beanball Bing" held a Press Conference in New Zealand yesterday. Does anyone know what it was actually all about ?

How pathetic- calling a conference just to say how much you want to be in the team. Yep, his sponsors are getting thier money's worth.

I think this may be looked at as an extreme view, however I think cutting Brett Lee loose is the only way to stop this non-sensical babble from journalists, and keep the Australian selectors from straying from the path of reason.

Give him 12 months strictly in domestic competitions (county, pura cup etc) and if his form seriously warrents re-inclusion into the squad then he can have his place.

It is clear they are grasping at straws trying to keep him in the team, (great for maketing etc) but as hard as they or he tries he is just quite simply NOT good enough to be an international fast bowler for Australia.

His value is severely OVER-inflated.
