Could this be the pilot of a new Kiwi TV show?

Nah, its the Kiwi slant on "The Cook the Thief His Wife & Her Lover". Being in NZ it has to involve dairy in some way.

Tuffey day at the office
March 9, 2005

NEW Zealand star Daryl Tuffey is today fronting a New Zealand Cricket (NZC) inquiry into alleged misconduct that involves him, a videotape, a milkshake and an unidentified woman.

The pace bowler has been placed at the centre what sounds like a spicey incident which occured in January, sources in New Zealand say.

Local media is apparently waiting for more evidence before going public with the revelations. Two British tourists are also reportedly involved.

Neither NZC nor Tuffey's legal representatives will comment on the mystery, which is unravelling in Christchurch today, venue for the First Test between Australia and New Zealand starting tomorrow.

Tuffey is not part of the Test squad after his bowling was smashed to fences by an unrelenting Australia during the recent one-day whitewash.

Employment contracts for New Zealand players state they must comply with a code of conduct on and off the field, and that they do not act in a manner likely to bring the team or the game into disrepute.

A beach of the code could lead to Tuffey's sacking from the international game.

Tuffey has played 22 Tests for the Black Caps and 76 one-day internationals.

However, New Zealand coach John Bracewell has sent him packing to domestic cricket in an effort to get him back in form after his opening over in the third one-day match against Australia took 14 balls to complete.

Thanks. It is the milkshake that makes the story. Great stuff.

With the code of conduct also covering off field indiscretions he may be in a spot of bother.

Oh well if his cricket career is ended he can always become a NZ Ron Jeremy. ;)

Is that what the Village People meant by “do the shake...the milkshake, the milkshake”?

I hope he doesn't get punished too heavily and people don't get too sanctimonious about it. After all, I've seen no suggestions that it wasn't all consensual.
Foolish perhaps, but you are only young once. Good luck to him.

Cricket NZ should broker a deal with Darryl to sell a DVD of his escapades for $29.95, they need the money!

Maybe they could hire Tony to flog it on their test broadcasts- that could be quite funny!

With that cast of characters and the addition of a milkshake - it's almost a script for a German porn film.

Has anyone heard the details of how the milkshake became involved in this escapade?

Each of these marvellous DVD's comes with a side portion of Darryl Tuffey's ACTUAL milkshake from that night, plus a signed certificate of authenticity.

So that's "Sex, Lies and Videoshakes" available now for 6 monthly payments of $69.99 or $59.99 if you send in the barcode from a 600Ml Big M.
