I was wondering if the Devils/North Hobart Practice match would be free? Or I will have to pay to go? I thought I might check out the Demons and see how they look for the 2005 AFLST season.
So does anyone know if it's free or not?

More than likely you would have to pay a few dollars, but not sure either way or the other. So best to check The Muckery closer to the day.
I have only ever seen the Devils live once, that was thier very first practice match ever against Box Hill at North Hobart (Devils never had a proper uniform at this stage and were wearing a white jumper with a Patrick logo on the front) and Ian Callinan kicked a goal on the siren to win the game for them by 3-points.
Hobart and North Hobart played a curtain raiser and I was the timekeeper for that curtain-raiser match, so I never had to pay to get in.
That was the day that I had AFL Tasmania General Manager Scott Wade constantly coming into the timekeepers box in the Doug Plaister Stand trying to get me to end the Hobart-North Hobart match early to get the Devils on a little earlier
Never mind that it was a tight match or anything, Hobart won by 5 points and the final quarter only went 17 minutes, thanks to Wade's interference.
Wade got so meddling in the finish, I told him no uncertain terms to get the f*ck out of the box. Cretin.

Pretty much expect to pay, I was hoping that I wouldn't have to but oh well, I will wait for Glenorchy to play a practice match and go and watch that.

I had to pay $5 to enter a Sandringham practice match last weekend, but it was worth it to watch some local footy.
