A friend on mine at work who knows an admin person at Essendon Football Club reckons that the Don's are keeping it very hush hush, and part of the reason why sheedy has come about about Hird not being first picked on their list.
Terrible news for Bommers fans, who based on their disasterous pre-season could be looking at their first wooden spoon for nearly fifty years, made even more ironic that Coach sheedy recently resigned as coach for three years.
is this the calf injury that is so serious that it allowed him to be easily best afield on the weekend? They must be keeping it real hush if they've instructed him to play as well as he would when fully fit.
Sheedy's commentary on Hird was because he'll be retiriing soon, and it's about time a large number of players stood up and stopped relying on him

You'd love that wouldn't you? Fortunately for us we're nothing like Carrrrrlton. We may not go too well this year but you'd be an idiot to tip Essendon for the spoon.

Try nearly 80 years dip********. There is no way we are closer to a wooden spoon that Hawthorn, bitchmond, footscray and adelaide...

Apparantly Medical Staff have regular meetings with those in admin (many of whom barrack for other clubs) on players injuries.
I'm sure the payroll officer at EFC is kept very much up-to-date with players injuries, rehab and the like.
Cleaners also sit in on selection, and the curator handles all player contracts.

Now to quote the Essendon match report against geelong "James Hird dazzled under the lights of the Queen Elizabeth Oval, to lead the midfield". Not a bad troll jerkoff. Instead of coming in here why not go out into the football public and try to convince them that the drought releif kouta is still a valuable player and was worthy to play in the wizza cup GF.
