From SA to the Gabba??

Is anyone making the trip to the Gabba this weekend?

General admission tickets aren't available till Wednesday. What are the chances of lining up plane tickets between then and the weekend? A friend who was also thinking of going now thinks it's not going to be possible. I have no experience with this kind of short notice booking of plane trips... anyone?

powerboi, your best option is probably to go to the travel agency at the Port Adelaide Football Club. They might have packages for the game that includes air fares and accommodation.

About tickets being available on Wednesday, If you are a power member you should be able to buy your tickets now.

Also I was looking at the virginblue web site last night and you can book an air fare with them on the net for about $400 return.

If this was an elinmination final I would be going myself but I have deceided to save my money incase we have to play finals in Melbourne. Hopefully the only final we play in Melbourne this year will be on the last Saturday in September.:)

Went to Power Travel, they seemed rather disorganised and eventually gave me a ballpark figure of $650 pp, inc. 2 nights accom. A bit outside my limit unfortunately, so I'll be at the Club instead catching the game on the big screen :)

From what I have heard it will be a good night down at the club, with Bucky's Disco after the game upstairs

I would go but have another sort of Bucky Disco on the same night... a mates Buck Show ... and he's not a Port supporter :(
