i know that epping beat div 1 EDFL premiers- greenvale last week in 30 degree heat by 8 points.
Got some big news involing Lalor football club
they have 4 Ex Collingwood Footballers playing with them this year
1. Ben Kinnear
2. Brad O'Borne
3. Brad Fuller
4. Scott Cummings
I have heard these players will all play this week

Silvan are not a good side? They were expected to get smashed by u guys, and in the end they were very happy with how they went and said it wasn't to hard.

But saying that I played with the Wheatley brother's at North and they where good blokes, and there's a young bloke down there at the moment called Warrick his good mates with my brother, but lalor is a good club and has been very successful throughout the years, good luck for the year.

Played all my junoir footy at Reservoir Colts then played at North Heidelberg senoirs and reserves between 1998 - 2002, don't play anymore due to being king hit twice in the same year both against Heidelberg resulting in broken jaw and fractured cheek bone etc etc so I started working on Saturday's, I played against junior and stevie for years and had some real battles on and off the ground in both juniors and even when I went to North we often shaped up against each other, but saying that I respect both blokes for there football ability and will to win, but would never go out of my way and have a beer with them.

Getting king hit is no good both blokes got 10 weeks but was no good to me, I came back never the same player, but that's footy especially in the D.V.F.L. anything can and will happen.

Had a cousin play at Albatross a few years back, Mark Speechley, he still involved up there at Nowra? Another mate, Brent Milner also had a kick there whilst posted up there.

west preston seem to be ordinary. tim rasmussen doing ok up forward for them but they obviously have no where near the personnel they had when they won the flag in '03. sorry david - don't really follow the other sides - who are the top sides at this stage of the season??

Heidleberg are gonna b very hard to beat, and north heidleberg.
Division One is obviously controlled by Heidelberg, no one can seem to get close to them. A good depth of senior players, including ex AFL/VFL and TAC players. I can see them blitzing the Grand Final, or just losing in a very big upset to North Heidelberg or Montmorency. However, I think that is highly unlikely, but local football is un-predictable sometimes.
As for Division Two, it's quite interesting to see Mernda on top, undefeated after 8 rounds. Then again there is 16 teams in the competition, they possibly have only taken on the bottom half of the table teams? Greensborough, sitting 3rd at the moment, should take out the premiership and advance to Division One in 2006 while Lower Plenty by the looks of it will be relegated to Division Two.

Hi guys,
Does anyone have any dirt on Northcote Park Footy Club, who's playing with them this year and are they any good. I've heard there a pretty young upcoming side with the likes of Julian Violato, Kaylan Brown and James Dau. Can someone fill me in.
