View Full Version : McLeod and Goodwin to miss Carlton game?

It was reported on Channel 7 tonight that Andrew McLeod and Simon Goodwin might miss this weekends game because both of their partners are expecting to give birth this weekend.

They didn't get to speak to Simon Goodwin but Andrew McLeod admitted that he will choose to be at the birth rather than the game if it came to the crunch.

The question must be asked, what was McLeod and Goodwin thinking of nine months ago? Were they already thinking that September was not a possibility?

"Merry Xmas and have I got a present for you" was probably their thinking.

What about Snowdon wanting a direct flight to Brissie, wanting to maximise the rehabilitation time?? Makes sense, but I would have thought 2 weeks would have been enough time?? ;)

Ant!

Yes two weeks will be enough time for rehab once we win on Saturday night, at least we are now getting a direct flight to Brisbane which I think is the main concern.

So if Port made the GF they could be without both key defenders Mead & Paxman. Hardly warrants them turning up! Suppose the Crows better represent the state then ... :) ;)

Threads with titles like this should not be bumped. It is akin to mentioning the our Chief Football Writers name.

Was just reading the last page of The Pride magazine yesterday and read that they were having a kid. Congratulations to the Burtons.

As for CC... what were you thinking, bumping a 7 year old thread for no apparent reason?

I propose the club set up an IVF unit, so only males are born.

For every boy born the player gets a 'Baby bonus'* of 20% of their yearly pay.

*This offer does not apply to Luke Jericho or Nick Gill

Me too...I also got excited about the Tony McGuinness back to Adelaide thread...but it was dated 1990. Seems he's leaving Footscray and coming home. What about those Cornes kids? Thank God Graham is a Crows and Glenelg man - no way those boys could ever end up somewhere else!

McLeod, just play 1 quarter please. We need you for your 300th at AAMI, not on a losing side at TD.
