I have heard that He was born in S.A, but someone mentioned today that he was actually born in Vic, but went to Uni in S.A.
Does anyone know which state he was born in & which state he is currently living in?
The IMDB states that was was born in Melbourne and did go to Flinders uni in SA.

he is currently filming "Bitter & twisted" but I have no idea what state he is living in.
As an aside, he also played in the SANFL and is a mad Collingwood supporter which is why there were lots of Collingwood paraphenalia in Stingers and he tends to play for Collingwood in charity matches that have the old players & celebrity guests.

HHHMMM so they were right, is a melbournian by birth, same person said they thought he was back living in melbourne, but I can't find anything on the net to verify that. Someone else might be able to confirm or deny his current location.

Gary Sweet was born and bred in Werribee.
LOL, does anyone know where they film the "Twisted Tales" short films? This is the reason Gary's name came up, because Brian Brown does most of the acting in them, but my son said Gary Sweet would be better to play the lead in his films that he has submitted, I thought they would be filmed in Sydney, not Melbourne.
I think the answer is: Yes. ;)

I remember that from what feels like 10 years back, some quirky little stories with some good Aussie actors.

Yes, they are doing it again, it is to give young aspiring writers a chance to be discovered. I'm not sure what station it will be on, maybe Ch 9 as they are showing old series at 1.30am sundays, they are only just accepting scripts at the moment, so the new series won't be for awhile.

That had more to do with the producers who were mad collingwood supporters. They had quite a few characters named after collingwood players.
