Dont know if anyone else here has seen it advertised but coming up this week on ABC TV there is a special "Message Stick" programme about the 'inspirational' Casey Donovan. In the promo she is proclaimed as 'a hero for all Koori's'.
How sad that a morbidly obese, clearcut candidate for type 2 Diabetes, faux goth, with no discernible interpersonal skills can be viewed by her people as a role model for anyone, let alone a population crying out for positive and healthy examples to follow. Good on the girl for 'winning' Australian Idol, but come on, lets not persist with this myth that she actually has any talent or liklehood of any sort of career in the entertainment industry.
