WCL, are there no Regional League games this week?
Beg to differ with your Premier League tips too while I'm at it ..... while I've picked the Eagles to win their first flag in 23 years, it takes a fair team performance to knock off the Roos at Bellerive! Not writing the Reigning Premiers of already are you?
Also, with the summer exodus at KGV and Kingborough's recruiting over the off season, you couldn't get enough money on the Tigers, for mine!
Mind you, I have been wrong in the past! :o

I believe that Glenorchy will win, purely because the game has been moved from "the pit" to North Hobart. To be perfectly honest, to me the Clarence V New Norfolk game was an even money bet. Although I believe the eagles will be seeking revenge over last year and may have a good win in front of what I am hoping to be a big crowd to see the GF replay.

The Glenorchy - Kingborough game is at KGV I think, WCL :)
I'm reasonably sure the North - Lions game is at North Hobart as a Devils curtain-raiser.
Dunno, they might've changed it again....LOL

Got a Roster (with both leagues on it) from the Claremont FC bar the other night, and whilst I thought the roster was as you guys have written it (Was it out of the paper?) The (I assume) SFL issued Roster has the following games for Round 2 of the Regional League ....
Kermandie v Cygnet
Sorell v Dodges Ferry
Claremont v Huonville
Channel v Lindisfarne.....
Surely not another Mercury error?
On a related note, just noticed as I was typing Huonville's name, Whatever happened to the `Lions' on the end of their name? Initially when they first came into the SFL they were very keen to make sure they said the name `Huonville Lions' so as to recognise the history of Franklin who are supposedly part of the history of the club, but it all smells like a simple takeover to me ....

Hobart v North Hobart at the TCA Ground .
Not a curtain raiser for the VFL game .
Reason for the reverse is some one took notice on the Hobart web site pointing to certain facts why and it was not a good idea to go with the change.
Note i refer to Hobart as Hobart yet to see any offical confirmation from Hobart to confirm their rumoured new look .

I am glad we beat the Roos, I hated us losing the grand final to them AGAIN!! glad to see the Maggies get up, even though we are going to cream them at KGV Oval in round 4 :)
