Which movie was it for you? Hmm it can be either the movie you couldn't wait for so badly, and once you saw it...it was just average. Or, your wait was worth it?
I'm not sure which movie it was for me.. Maybe Harry Potter? Had to be a movie which pumped us all up.

Any of the Star Wars prequels...I hope that the Revenge of the Sith that opens next month meets expectations for once.

Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring... easily for me.
I grew up reading LOTR, probably read it 5-6 times as a kid. Peter Jackson did wonders bringing this world to life.

Easily Revenge of the Sith. I've waited since 1996 (first time I saw Star Wars) for it to end. 37 days to go.

Probably for me it would be 'The Matrix Reloaded'. I loved the first one and could not wait until the second came out. Pity it fell way below my expectations.

Gulp, I have been waiting since 1977 when I saw it as a 9 year old. LMAO!

The only one of this series that I haven't seen in the cinema is Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace. Only because I couldn't get ony one to go with. Remedied this by seeing Attack of the Clones on Opening day, but was a bit let down by this one.
Hoping that Revenge of the Sith is up to expectations.

Star Wars also. Although unlike many, I enjoyed 1 + 2.
Sahara was the other I was hanging out for. Finally I got to see the great Dirk Pitt on the big screen!!

The best thing to do with all the SW movies is get them on DVD and listen to Lucas's mumblings in the extras as each film unfolds. I too disliked 1 & 2 but after listening to him, I like them as much as the rest.

I've been waiting for Revenge of the Sith for over 20 years. I can't wait. I'll be at Crown Casino at 12:01am May 19th.
The waiting and expectation for all the Star Wars prequels has been exciting.

I liked 1 and 2. I think because I didn't compare them to the other 3. Because lets face it, if you compare almost any movie to the original trilogy you will almost always say that it is a bad movie.

Tim Burton's "Planet of the Apes" remake. It seemed a perfect fit for him and the promotional material looked great - it was a horrible dud and an insult to the original film.

Have booked my opening night seats for Episode III and am pumped....

I also pre-booked tickets. 12:01am at knox haha, then I'm going back to see it 6:30pm that night. It better be worth it, which it probably will be. I love the originals, liked the prequels a fair bit but still found them lacking the spirit of the originals, or it might just be lacking darth vadar. So hopefully when he returns it'll set things right.
Plus the new ones have no uppy character like han solo, which really helped make the movie.
