No joke it goes for 2 and a half hours.. people cheered when it had finished.

It was terrible at first. I found the constant spooky music, when absolutely nothing was happening, very annoying. If you watched it without sound then you would not know that it purported to be a horror movie.
Towards the end there was the exploration of the motivation of Samarra's real mother, and I thought that was interesting.

Yeah no where near as good as the first, altho I did like the bathroom scene with the water flowing up to the roof and when the deer were ramming their car. It was a good continuation of the story, but there was just something missing...
