Matty has been cited. Annouced about 30 minutes ago.

The media barrage hasn't helped his cause either. Over the weekend and today, there have been a total of 8 articles in the Age and Sun entirely devoted to it.

The media look to have been given their wish

Seeing that the media sway public opinion, it's no suprise that many think he is guilty. Even before he was officially cited.

This is disappointing, but i am confident that Matthew case will be dismissed.

I suggested in another thread that he's been hung drawn and quartered by certain sections of the media....Sh*thead Sheahan being one of them...no real surprise there after watching his performance on The Footy Show yesterday.

where's wally?

Hey, that's ok. The more media coverage it gets, the more chances there are of him getting off due to an unfair trial.

I believe Lloyd will get suspended, Essendon will appeal - if that doesn't work, they'll take it to court and he'll get off.

There's no way in the world a suspension will stick.

Either that or the case will get thrown out in 5 mins.

It will be interesting to see what Gasper has to say.

will be interesting to see how many reams of paper will be devoted to the story of Lloyd being cleared ???? Not as many Ill bet. And he will be cleared of this. The charge is as soft as Richo after he drops a mark.

fkn media scum.

Love the way the media's concentrated on this, completely ignoring SOS the golden boys elbow to the head of a certain Adelaide player on Saturday. Wouldn't do to highlight that would it?? Big johnny might send the mafia around.....

After the decision in the Archer case if he doesn't get off the trib's a bloody joke, but then I've said that before. Personally I was more worried about the "punch" than this.

F@rken media...
