Don't know about the forecast, but looking out the window it's pretty overcast, southerly wind. Might rain, but if it does it won't be a lot.

Nick Stevens could be facing a holiday for late contact on Bell.

I barrack for neither club.
To me it seems Freo need a new coach.

One that is tacktically sound and mentally tough.

Connelly is not the messiah at Freo,

Fremantle has to lift now or they will fall too far behind.

Freo have a good list but need a Wallace/Pagan type coach.

Fevola does a bit of gouging. Looked worse than what Scotland did! I'd say it will be at least looked at.

Nick Stevens looks like he will go to the tribunal for a hit on Bell... :( Carlton NEED to lift now.

Going to take a lot to turn this around. Everything about the game screams a Freo win, they can't do anything wrong.

Even their spastic kicks off the side of the boot hit a man inside 50 :(

Jimthegreat
23 Apr 2005, 18:32
Following the AFL site, 7 min into the 2nd qtr total kicks were 59 Freo, 58 Carlton. 20 min later 111 to 76. I know their just stats but that 52 to 17 in 20 min......where's the workrate and accountability. Carlton lets themselves too often like that, work hard then let it all go, just like against Collingwood. First 20 min against Port was like that too. Great way of losing games.

Bentleigh

Still early, not over yet.

Carlton are an average side.

Too few good players; Stevens, Teague, Kouta...

Too many average/poor players; Simpson, Morrell, Clarke, McGrath, Johnson, Bannister...

Certainly not a 4 goal difference but the umpiring continues to be so pro-home teams in both Adelaide and Perth. Geelong survived it last night, and I hope it doesn't effect the result of our game.

God knows how Troy Cook won that freekick that led to Carr's last goal.

We are lucky to only be 4 down, just have to hope Freo's luck wears out in the 2nd half.

Some bad calls, but the pro-Freo orgasmic commentators are far worse than the umpiring.

Could be worse, at least Peter Wilson is an eagle. Tim Gossage on the other hand....
