Considering we received Pick 6 which delivered Kepler Bradley to Windy Hill and a little sweetener in Mark Alvey in return for Danny Jacobs - I think the club certainly did very well out of it. It's obvious Keps, at 19 and just starting to blossom in defence has a much brighter and longer future than Jacobs at AFL level after yesterday's dismal performance.

As noted by Clarkson, Hawthorns midfield didn't help him much, added to the fact that he is not the defender to stand the number 1 forward but had to due to Hay's withdrawal.

I guess it was just to free up the Salary Cap, so I gueus it was just a strategy, and not a gain. I remember fondly that we called that 'The Veale Deal'. :)
