What about Cantrell?

Good point there, he played for Holland in the 1996 World Cup. I would count hi because those games were one-day international status.

Yeah Border was born in NSW, made his first-clas debut with NSW before swtiching to QLD early in his career.

The reason why Queensland has done so well and provided a fair amount of international representatives, is because there is a thing called being looked after by Cricket Australia as well as having a favourite son (AB) on the NSP.

Queensland is Australia's most cricketing rich state in terms of resources and it's a joke that they refuse to share them with other states that makes up our great nation.

I'm a Victorian and won't put up with a banana bender having a go at my state.

Listen here dropkick im a queenslander and i wont put up with a stupid mexican thinking victoria are the greatest thing in the world.Face it Queensland leads the country in everything from sport, culture, buildings, ideas, EVERYTHING, on the other hand victoria is 50 years behind everyone else. VICTORIA = DISGRACE :D

ben.carbonaro
25 Apr 2005, 18:38
Culture ?

I have serious reservations about being in front of us in terms of that and don't you ********ing call me a mexican.

Was talking about cricket realted issues and nothing else, so why did you bring up culture, buildings.... etc

Where are you examples to see you are culturally superior to us Victorians ?

You are a ********ing over patriotic Queensland, if you have something to say about Victoria or any state other than your own talk about in the Politics, Society & Culture board.

Red card for you.

I dont "appreciate" people telling lies to make their State seem better than it is.

Ok Mr Perfect.

Talking with your ********ing load of crap, but then again the same could be said for me.

But I will not put up with under any circumstances ignorant people like yourself having a go at the deaf community. It's actually a closer knit and more respectful community than what you are probably part of.

load of crap? its true mate, WA has more rugby players than Victoria.

I'm not part of anything mate. Sure i might have been ignorant towards you helping the deaf people, you really make them realise how great it is not being able to listen to people. They might respect you, but respect don't get you anywhere mate :D

I think Victoria has named every player they've ever had in the Hall of Fame.......I think Darren Berry is due for his entry.

ben.carbonaro
25 Apr 2005, 20:20
Well, are you going to name any guys from WA who are worthy of being named in the hall of fame ?

This isn't an insult as I personally think there are a few who deserve to be.

Just two that popped off the brain include are Justin Langer and Tom Moody. Obviously, not straight away as Langer is still playing and Moody has only be a few years out of the game.

NATHAN HAURITZ AND SCOTT MULLER.

Dennis Lillee and Rod Marsh are already in the hall of fame.

The only other Western Australian I can think of worthy enough to be in there is Garth McKenzie.

Langer and Alderman maaaybe. But Geoff Marsh and Tom Moody? Not even close.

Gilchrist will of course be in there eventually.

And by the way, it's Hugh Trumble. A worthy bowler in his day.

You idiot, matthew hayden is 5 times the player matthew elliott ever was and will. Kaspa is just as good as fleming if not better, Mcdermott is alot better than hughes and you damn well now it. Comparing Berry to the great Ian Healy is a damn insult as is comparing harvey to andrew symonds. Andrew Symonds is a damn gun, feared by opposition teams across the world while harvey never even got a one day international 50, JOKE. I won't even respond to the last one. Admit it. I know you are only here to stir the pot but, even so, that statement is just rubbish.

Ever heard of Dean Jones? Keith Stackpole? Ian Redpath? Bill Lawry? Lindsay Hassett? Just under 19,500 runs at over 44 between that lot alone.

In the bowling ranks, Alan Connolly, Rodney Hogg, Merv Hughes, Paul Reiffel, Ian Johnson all took over 100 wickets.

How about someone called Keith Miller as well? They tell me he could play a bit.

The odd Australian captain and/or vice-captain in there too.

And they are only (some of) the players since World War 2.

Give yourself some credibility and post something resembling fact next time.
