Read with interest today that Corey apparently wants to rejuvinate his career by playing elsewhere. Would we be interested? He is the right size, and CAN play. But he is such a confidence player, and perhaps not a natural footballer. Who would we be prepared to let go? Ellis for McKernan?

I was thinking the same thing WWB today when I was reading the paper on the bus...if we get a good deal I say go for him cause he can bloody play when his confidence is up(bagged 6 VS us) and if we have to let go off 2 fringe players for him I say go for it!

I reckon north will ask for to much for him .They would probably look for a top 6 player or 2 fairly good players eg robbins and alvey or something like that.This would be to much for a player who as you both pointed out runs on confidence

You are probably right, I would reckon North would be asking for a top 6 player and perhaps draft picks for McKernan. Let's not under-estimate him when he is good he is bloody good, he does run on confidence, but then who doesn't?? But don't forget the media haven't reported that Corey has come and said 'trade me' so he could possibly stay where he is if a suitable trade can't be worked out.
And as for Ellis... well we gave him to you, I have no doubts we wouldn't want him back..

We drafted him in the 1993 pre season draft. When did the roos have him? He played for the western jets the year before.

Ellis played for the Western Jets in 1992, but before that he was with North's under 19s until the cessation of that competition after the 1991 season.

I figured that could be it. My other idea was pehaps he did the pre season with the roos in 93 before we drafted him. Cheers.
