The HUN reports that it will be made into a movie starring comedian Will Farrell, which could mean it may be a comedy.

Does anyone else remember this show? This family got thrown back in time to the dinosaurs and some creepy monsters that lived in caves but couldnt come out into the light. I dont know if they ever got out, I was a kid during this time.

I remember one episode where they had likenessess to them stuck in a parallel time warp and were being sucked though a large wall. Scared the life out of me that epsiode and had nightmares for weeks.

I hate when they touch these 70's shows and try to make them current & usually destroy the good memories us GenXers had of them.

Ferrell Going Back in Time for Universal's 'Lost'

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - After playing an elf and an anchorman on the big screen, Will Ferrell is venturing into "Land of the Lost" for Universal.

The "Saturday Night Live" alumnus is attached to star in a "Land of the Lost" comedy feature based on the 1974-77 television series of the same name.

...and from the same site, the episode that gave me nightmares:

"One episode has one Marshall family get out at the exact same time another identical family comes in. I know, I don't get it either, but it's a closed universe you see."

geez, a comedy... ;)
