31 point win for Bendigo.

The Scorpions got off to flier leading by 5 goals at quarter time. Bendigo slowly edged back and over ran them in the end. Springvale only kicked 3 goals after quarter time.

Goals: Hille 2, Monfries 2, Allan 2, Alvey 1, Winderlich 1, Beasy 1, Lovett-Murray 1, Stanton 1...

Best: Doering, Dyson (20 possessions), Monfries (20 possessions), Stanton

Hille looked to be moving fine. Allan as well. One, if not both should come in next week. Dyson got a fair bit of the ball as did Monfries. Monfries looked classier than anything else out there.

Lovett-Murray did some very good things from half back. Looks classy in the VFL. Whether he can take that into the AFL is another thing all together. He's sort of playing that Welsh position. Linking...

Stanton kicked 1 goal 3. Got a bit of it...still disposal is an issue. Watson impresses every time i see him. And every time i see him he looks like he could play centre half forward.

Richards didn't play so it looks like another late change tonight.

Good comeback.

Watson was superb. I hope he didn't get injured when he went off. He'd have to be a big chance next week if he's fit.

Dyson and Monfries were also very good. Stanton would be so damn good if he could use the footy better, he really gave us a lift in the second half.

Richards didn't play, so Bradley probably won't play tonight.

Has Jordan Doering ever played a bad game for us?

Was a pretty good win in the end. We were the better team for the last 3 quarters and you could always see Bendigo coming back and running over the top of them, Good stuff and sitting on top of the table :)

Watson just cramped up, with the extra workload of midfield duties. A few more full games and he should be all good. He won anything disputed on the ground, and led quite well.

Stanton's disposal wasn't that bad I thought given that bastard of a wind. His kicks for goal were good strikes, he simply hadn't adjusted for the wind properly.

Monfries is class and guts.

We had real run when Winderlich, Stanton, Dyson and Monfries were all up and firing through the middle.

I had Doering, Watson, Monfries and Winderlich in our best, with Dyson and NLM not far behind.

If Winderlich could get more of the ball he'd be really damaging.

Jobe deserves a game in the seniors very soon; hope he gets one.

Monfries is a star.

Hille was almost a non-entity in the first half but he got going in the second; kicked a couple great goals and really should have bagged a third (got a bit casual on a set shot).

Allan didn't do much.

Hunt's time on our list is probably just about up, sad to say.

I only saw a quarter. He looked to be working hard and playing okay in the middle.

Get the kid back in the A's. We are desperate for something positive about 2005 and Angus is just that. Same with Kepler.

HS today said he did a good job. 22 possessions and 2 goals and the coaches were happy with him.
