one of the problems with AFL footy in SA is the lack of real matches with great rivalry games through having crowds of roughly 50:50 supporters. Personally I do not particularly enjoy a crowd without opposition fans.

What do you think of the following:

1. Both Port and Adl sell memberships which do not include access to Showdowns (they would also be cheaper).

2. On the first Monday and Tuesday before the showdown tickets go on sale to both Port and Adelaide supporters (a bit like a final I suppose)

this way each showdown crowd will consist of half Adl and half Port fans. On average you can still go to as many showdowns each year.

What do you all (including crows) think ?

I agree with the sentiment

But if I am paying $270 a year I want to have access to Showdown's.

If you did it that way though - there would be a lot more Crow supporters at both games due to our bigger support base.

I think that they could have both games nuetral and offer tickets to alternate sections of the ground to the different clubs

ie Crows season ticket holder in A C E G etc etc get the first game
Power with B D F H etc for the first game

And then swap it for the second

Don't know how it would work in the members though.
