ray hall is a ********ing mule, get the ******** off tredrea and out of the side for good

jezza
1 May 2005, 15:24
No 50 paid against Pickett interestingly after putting Pettifer down well after the whistle. Pettifer looks hurt.

Ray Hall is struggling on Tredrea who looks very strong on the lead. It's more a matter for Richmond to block up the space in front of Tredrea.

Richmond: 1.1.7
Pt Adelaide: 4.0.24

Goal to Cornes.

Funkalicous
1 May 2005, 15:25

Quiet patch for a while with neither team able to get much clean possession.

Nice run through the middle by Dew delivering to Primus who misses an easy one.

Richmond: 1.1.7
Pt Adelaide: 4.3.27

jezza
1 May 2005, 15:37
Port dominating across their half back line with plenty of numbers. Primus misses another gettable shot though, not hurting the Tigers enough on the board given the level of dominance.

Richmond: 1.1.7
Pt Adelaide: 4.4.28

jezza
1 May 2005, 15:41
Quarter Time:

Richmond: 1.2.8
Pt Adelaide: 4.4.28

Port dominating by getting numbers behind the ball and then running hard in numbers exposing Richmond's lack of accountability.

Lade with the first goal of the quarter, nice kick from a tight angle.

The pressure we are applying is great. Tuck has just earnt his stripes as an AFL football. His work rate is five star.
Meyer has shut down Wanganeen in the last half of that qtr.

Pettifer?? who said drop him??? Playing with the same deperation as Tuck.

And what about that grab by richo. Go tiges.

The Dice Man
1 May 2005, 16:24
Fantastic 2nd Qtr by the Tiges. Who would've thought at Quarter time we'd be leading at 1/2 time.

Cmon boys, keep it up in the 2nd half and take these guys to the cleaners!

28pt come back by Richmond.
Kicked 5 in arrow.
Richo took an absolute hanger! :D
Probly the most intense pressure ive seen Richmond put on a team so far this season.
Richmond 7.4 (46)
Port Adelaide 6.8 (44)
GO TIGES!

Adelaide Hawk
1 May 2005, 16:32
I'll tell you what Richmond fans, you can talk up the Deledios and Tamblings all you like, but the boy doing it all for you today is Shane Tuck, he's playing a beauty.

Adelaide Hawk

Is he out there? He's only a good player when the team's doing well.

I think we got him under the father son rule, :D I'm not sure?? Can anyone help me on that? :D

The difference between the two sides is Tuck, Johnson, Pettifer and thier intensity.

Keep it up TIGES.

Hawks took him with father son rule or was on the rookie list in 2002, but had injury, got delisted by years end, went back to South Adelaide, got redrafted end of 2003.

jezza
1 May 2005, 16:40
White misses to start the second half. Richmond by a point.

jezza
1 May 2005, 16:42
Great crumbing goal to Pettifer, he has really lifted, 3 goals now, Tigers have kicked the last 6.

Richmond: 8.4.52
Pt. Adelaide: 6.9.45

jezza
1 May 2005, 16:44
Francou misses another easy one, Port really kicking for goal badly.

Great 100m chase by Richo causes a turnover.

Francou crashes into Tredrea and has really hurt him.

jezza
1 May 2005, 16:47
Miss of the season by the umpire on Brown. Shocking no call, shocking. Will be ashamed to watch that on replay.

Tambling sets up Brown who sticks it up the ump and goals. 7 in a row to the Tigers.

Are Port playing terribly, or do Richmond actually show signs of improvement? I don't understand this season. It's all a bit confusing.

Bit of both. Port looked great early, flooding then running hard, tearing Richmond apart on the rebound.

But lately Richmond have really lifted, better accountability and disposal, but overall it's the workrate that has got them back in it. Small forwards Brown and Pettifer have really lifted.

jezza
1 May 2005, 16:51
Great smother by Kellaway to deny Francou. Should have been paid deliberate out of bounds against Bowden after though.

Geez Deledio has a good set of hands on him.

Who was the last premier not to play finals?

Would be especially staggering given we have a final 8, but Port look worse by the week. Carlton and Geelong at home, and now this debacle.

jezza
1 May 2005, 16:53
Big mark to Simmonds, he also has really lifted. Working hard, not always executing well.

8 unanswered goals to Richmond. Lead by 20.

Richmond starting to look really good. Bowden getting into it, Richo taking marks. Amazing change in the two teams over the course of this game, early on Port were on track for a percentage booster, now they are really struggling, losing discipline.

If the Tigers can hang on it will be a huge boost. It really looked like we were no chance against any of the top sides this year, a win over a team like Port would really give the team confidence against everyone. I gave us very little chance, I love being proved wrong in this case.

As if the umpires have had any bearing on today's game :)

Last few decisions have gone against Port, umpires always favour the side with the momentum, something that I hate.
