Who is the biggest diver/stager in the league?

Its common knowledge that Lloyd would get the Gold medal in this event.

Who would get the silver?

Competitors are:-

Scott Camporeale (Carlton)
Matthew Lappin (Carlton)
Jason Akermanis (Brisbane)
Gavin Wanganeen (Port Power)
Alan Didak (Collingwood)

Other nominations?

Either way whoever it is, they'd have to do well to matchup with Lloyd in the synchronised event.

It'd be good coming up with the worst dive for all of the players including Lloyd actually. I know what Matty Lappin's would be, and so would Jarrad Rooke.

Wanganeen would be one of those rare olympians who win medals in 3-4 consequtive olympic games. He is a quality diver over a long period of time.

Wanganeen has the runs on the board. If not for some dodgy dealings with the Mexican judge, he'd have won gold in Athens.

Both former Essendon team mates. Sounds like diving is a culture thing at essendon

Brodie Holland and Phil Matera deserve a mention.
Holland does the dog acts yet dives for frees when someone retaliates.A real class act.

Campo has been crucified for one incident (which was ordinary), but I reckon he does alright considering the amount of niggle he gets from opposition.

No-one beats Lloyd, Gavin "Louganis" Wanganeen, Medhurst.....

Matthew Lloyd has gone from being one of my favourite power forwards to being a disgrace to his gournsey. If there is any doubt he will not get a clean possession he does a stuntman dive, I can not stand that rubbish.

When you set yourself up for a big fall, then you aren't going to come back for a while.

My friend, I think you'll find that essendon will take that culture now as well as the diving.

Brent Harvey has all these olympians beat. He goes down quicker and more regularly than Monica Lewinski on an iceskating rink.

Agreed... Wangaerneen is AFLs answer to aquaman (as if he needs any extra edge - he's a champ). I gotta say Acker reminds me of Maradonna on occasions - but surely he can be excused for toppling over celebrating the dizzy heights of a 3-peat .

how could you possibly make this poll without the superstar diver, #18 Bummers?

PS - must agree that Russell Robertson has a chance of silevr or bronze at times.
