You mean 2006.
We won't be winning a flag for at least another 10 years.

Take your optimistic, blind faith ,we are the greatest attitude over to Bombertalk. You and i both know it will be at least 50 years before we see another premiership.

Essendon will win the premiership in 2006. I said that in August last year and I stand by that.

C: Rama, Monfries, McVeigh
HF: Hird, Johns, Lucas

If Lovett-Murray ever wins a Premiership Medal I will feel very ripped off.

Any chance we can sneak Henno and bolts a medal also?...sheeds willl die a happy man if he pulls that off.

Word has it that his plans also include bringing Judd Lalich out of retirement to fulfill his dream of the 6'5" 'athlete of the century' type player who can run all day, rove his own ruck, take hangers, has the potential to be an Olympic sprinter, being predominant in a Premiership side.
Note: this plan is conditional on the Sherrin not being brought onto the field on Grand Final Day
You need D-Mac on a wing and Danny Morgan needs to be on-ball. Robert stevenson at Full-Back could work also.

a 2006 team to win a premiership that includes Rama and McVeigh on the wings....I doubt it. I think Rama is going to struggle to get a game next year, if he does it will purely be because of who he is and not that he deserves to be there. His knee is going to hold him back a lot I feel. Let's leave McVeigh in the back line.
McVeigh...I really don't know about him. Hasn't impressed me at all this year. Even managed to get suckered into stupid Aker's games on Saturday night.
As for the 2007 side. If we have got players like Watson, Johns and Stanton warming the pine I think we have issues. That's also if Johns is still on our list then.

Got to make sure we leave room for Davies.
No flag for 2006... Not without some major trades.....
As has been said, insert West Coasts midfield and there might be a chance

Guys,
You're forgetting about the priority picks we'll be getting in the next two seasons...
Surely they'll be able to make our first 18 easily???
