which is the better option

i used to like to get to the game about 12 and watch the bees run around before the big boys come out now i find my self bored before a game.

yet again the VFL has improved and gets people talking about it more

do the have SAFL and WAFL games be the main game starts

i always enjoyed watching the magoos before the real thing started...

chance to yell about something and get warmed up... also (sometimes) provided a ground with a bit of atmosphere before the game which can sometimes take a quarter to happen these days...


AND you got to see if any of the emergencies had not played in the 2's meaning that there way a late change which was always good to know...

I liked the old VFA and the AFL ressies seperate, but I was a Box Hill fan from birth and a Hawthorn fan from birth, so things worked out well for me.

Lets bring back the VFA and let the AFL clubs run their own reserves teams as in the past.
The current VFL(SIC) comp is not going anywhere and is fast becoming a joke - even local teams get more to their games than so called senior VFL teams do!

that true. I used to attend about 15-16 games in the VFA/VFL but in the last 3 years I have attened 1 game in the VFL. Now I go to the local footy.

Let the AFL teams have there own recerves comp and the VFL there own comp.

The VFA/VFL would have disbanded in a few years if it wasnt for the AFL clubs involvement imo.

It's time to bring back some sort of seconds game. The AFL in it's infinite wisdom wonder why people dont get to the game early enough and then theres a mad rush to get in. Well what is the bloody rush.

But the AFL is really starting to get me. First they've got rid of the home ground now it's a mutual home ground with no advantage - particularly for vic teams. Then the 2's have gone.

Is it any wonder every time i look at the AFL and my bullies i dont see a team and competition any more i just see a franchise and dollars. God damn i wish the AFL would give us some of things that made footy great.

p.s. - i understand this will never happen, money talks.

I think they should just have curtain raiser VFL matches,great viewing.

The womens footy today at the MCG wasn't bad :rolleyes:

Punt RD was on, with Bullants and Coburg playing, but they were charging money to get in. Which sucked.

We need the VFL to be playing the curtain raises, they will play infront of a bigger crowd too.
