I'm usually full of praise for guys when they retire but i don't really like Robran. :mad: He cracked the sads at Hawthorn because we omitted him in the 91 GF, did he expect us to leave out Dermott Brereton?
Oh well, i guess he had a pretty good career and he got his premierships at the Crows.

Yeah, a pretty good career from Matty, not many players kick 6 goals in an AFL prelim. and take part in 2 premierships.
I bought plane tickets once from Matty and he seemed a top bloke. Who wouldn't be disappointed at missing a GF side??

He's a really nice bloke
But he was a bit soft as a player
had great skills but wasn't hard enough and didn't work hard enough in my view
He did a job for us though
Mark Stevens is far more my type of player.
A sad way to go out (has he announced it yet???)
I think Robran underachieved a bit but was good service to the Adelaide Footy club for a number of yrs

I hope he continues playin with the redlegs, he is, and will be a star in the SANFL next season

LOL, Mr Waterbed doesnt exist anymore, they are now known as bedroom showcase

Givin that he had HUGE shoes to fill, I agree with Macca; his career was always gonna be fair.
Wouldve liked to see him play with a bit more mongrel like say a "Barry Hall"
