IMO if Buddy Franklin reaches his potential he will be the best player in the comp.

Franklin seens to have the tools to become the next star, hope he does. Ryan Griffen is going to be an absolute gun, and Dal Santo to be better than Judd.

Yeah, its pretty hard to find a flaw in his game unless you count his supposed bad attitude, but I don't think theres much to that. It's hard to say he will be better than Reiwoldt but he has to the potential to be IMO. His upside to Reiwoldt is probably the way he can run with the ball and kick goals on the run. I wouldn't ay yet that was a mistake for us to take Griffen, but I would still love to have Frnaklin at the dogs.

Think his attitude is over stated a little, probably over confident from playing school, but playing AFL confidence isn't neccessarily a bad thing if he's working hard. As you said, the upside of his game is more important than a perceived problem with his attitude. Griffen seems the safest bet from the draft IMO.

All I see are midfielders...they get you in the 8...may even in the top 4, but they dont win you grand finals.
Polak soon to hit his straps and take the competition by storm.

With FB: Hadrill/Thornton
CHB: Polak
C: Longmuir/Haselby
CHF:Pavlich
FF: McPharlin

All under 25, all have at least six years of good football ahead of them, all key position players (bar haselby), all to dominate for years to come.
Untill a side has key position players to match that I honestly cant see how they could possibly dominate the competition.
There is allot of good midfielders around at the moment, with quality Key position players harder to find their value now has never been greater.

Eagles...finish top....get to grand final....end up being a no show.
History has proven that it is key position players that win grand finals, plain and simple.

When was the last side to get to a Grannie without KPP's?

I rate West Coast as a top 1 side and beleive you can with finals and grannie with solid (rather than star) KPP and a class midfield.
