Doubt it. Hawthorn people don't hold Rawlings in high regard. We persisted with him for many years before he made the grade, allowing him to recover from some pretty serious injuries. As soon as he smelt the dollars, he packed up and left. I've got no sympathy for his current plight.

Thommo is a different kettle of fish. He never went anywhere near living up to expectations at Hawthorn (Rawlings was a far better player for us), but he didn't leave for money. He thought the change of scenary might help him with his illness and I hope it does. While not starring, he's been servicable for the roos so far, which is alot more than moneybags Jade has been for the doggies.

Not really missing either of them from our list though. As far as the trades go, we did alot better out of Thompson, as it brought Lewis to the club.

Despite the criticism Thommo has received since the trade period, he has played really well for us. Hasn't set the world on fire, but I think we woule be lost without him. If we didn't have him at CHF, god help us, we would be forced to play Petrie there. Hack of the highest order, young Drew.
