My argument to you has already been expressed in a pre existing thread, it has also been stated in the post above this one.

Cheap possession are better than no possessions.

That what you're taught at Hawthorn?
I'd rather Col. He's as tough as nails and goes in hard at the ball which obviously can't be taught. All he needs to do is get his hands on the ball and grow in confidence, which will take time.
Haven't seen enough of Raph to make any real comment on him, but good luck to the Saints if they want to breed a generation of cheap posession recievers.

I havent seen enough of Raph to make any real comment on him, part of the reason why I picked Sylvia.

You say give it time, yet you say sylvia will be the better player. :confused:
Why wont time say raph will be a better player? Just because he was lower in the draft? :confused:

Lower but better, has already proven it. Sylvia is useless at the moment.
Still both would waltz into the authors team and be in the starting 22.

Cheap back pocket possession.. bit like Hodge?
I want Colin Sylvia on my list over Clarkes.
Clarkes = soft.

But they are playing 27 kids every week. Watch out in 2 years.

na just personal opinion, i dont think raph will be able to take the game to a new level, not that colin will but i see raph as a consistant player, but not one to break a game open

Great pace, exellent overhead mark, good athletic size.. willing to take the oposition on with a run and bounce.. So why would you think that of Raph Clarke ?

trust bring up proven players.
Yze_Magic there are also a million more players who have got 1 touch in their career and didn't play more than 10.
