Does anyone read the Les Norton novels by Robert Barrett?

It's Robert G Barrett, but yeah, have read em all. Good stuff - sex, fights, food, grog & crime

Usually releases one per year but haven't seen one for a while yet.

Found him boring with too much Alf Stewart slang. Kept waiting for something interesting or funny to happen. Never happened. Read about 3/4 of The Real Thing before putting it down.

And please no one reply with "fair suck of the source bottle".

Thanks, fixed it up. I'm thinking Syd as in "Sydney" where the stories always start.
