One of my favourites is in Episode IV when C-3PO and R2D2 are in the escape pod and the gunner on the Star Destroyer doesn't shoot it.
The poor guy had no idea what he'd just done.

I liked it at the end of Return of the Jedi where Luke sees the ghosts/spirits of Yoda, Obi Wan, and then Darth Vader/Anakin appear. To me it's a good ending to see Darth finally 'saved' from the dark side and to reappear back with other Jedi legends.

:D. Someone got fired for that one!
Battle of Hoth for me. In fact the beginning 45 minutes of the Emipre Strikes Back.
From the prequels it's probably the lightsaber duel from Episode I, or the Giant battle at the end of Episode II.

Jabba the Hutt's slave girl's (Oola-the babe, not the fat one) breast popping out her uniform is pretty funny too.
My fave moment though is in A New Hope when Obi Wan Kenobi cuts off Walrus Man's arm in the cantina.

^^^ Personally I don't really care, but way to spoil it for those who haven't seen it yet...
Anyhoo, my favourite moments would have to those involving talk of Trade Federations and Senate propositions...enthralling stuff.

If there were going to be Episodes 7, 8, 9, he probably would have turned to the dark side.

George Lucas - worst beard ever.
And him on the OC that was painful to watch.
The end of Return of the Jedi always gives me goosebumps. Don't know if that would be my favourite part.
Maybe a deleted scene when Luke realised he had pashed his sister.

I liked this better on the original though, where they had the old guy as anakin. The dvd version has hayden christiansen as Anakin, but yes, it's a great scene.
It really seems strange watching the new versions compared to the old versions and trying to picture darth vadder as a little boy, and vice versa.

The scene where Tarkin interrogates Leia for the location of the rebel base, but just decides to blow up Alderaan for a "test".
"I find your lack of faith disturbing"
Vadar as he is using the force to choke the general who mocked him about his sorcerous ways.
oh and this
Darth Vader: If you only knew the power of the Dark Side. Obi-Wan never told you what happened to your father.
Luke: He told me enough. He told me you killed him.
Darth Vader: No. I am your father.
Luke: No. That's not true. That's impossible.
Darth Vader: Search your feelings you know it to be true.
Luke: Nooooo. Nooooo.
"I find your lack of faith disturbing..."
Edit: Wow, I did not read down to the last post.... SNAP! :D
Well anyway, me too.

Dunno the exact quote (it would take a real nerd to know) but the bit where Han Solo is dressed as a storm trooper and is talking to the dudes outside on the intercom thingy, then shoots it.
Genuinely funny I reckon.

I agree, that is funny.
"Who is this, whats your operating number?"
"Uhhh *Shoots it* No point in the conversation anyway, LUKE WE'RE GONNA HAVE COMPANY!"
I'm a nerd :(

I'm trying to remember the first time I saw it. I was 7 years old and I can't remember much of it originally except for the storm troopers but just think about it, 1977, and you're looking at this space ship then something following it . . . getting bigger, bigger, and bigger, my god what is this thing and then the back of it. It was like nothing anyone had ever seen before in a movie - absolutely amazing stuff.
