View Full Version : SFL Prem League Round 7
Should be a good round, pretty even and the Devils arn't playing so the attendances should continue to climb.
North Hobart V Clarence
This game is clearly the match of the round given recent performances. I think North will get over the line just, mainly because the game is at North Hobart.
North Hobart by 7pts
New Norfolk V Hobart
The eagles should win although the lions will be very gallant in defeat. Hobart will stay with Norfolk for 3 1/4s and then the eagles will kick away.
New Norfolk be 30pts
Lauderdale V Kingborough
Very interesting game this one, the bombers were belted by clarence at home last week and will be looking for some redemption this week in front of their faithfull. Kingborough's form has been less than impressive as well.
Bombers by 12pts
Glenorchy V Brighton
Magpies by 160pts

North Hobart v Clarance
I think eithier Clarance will do it comfortably or North Hobart to win by about 30 points. I doubt it will be close as Clarance tend to be exceptionally good or pretty ordinary in regular season matches. Come the finals their a different side (much like New Norfolk but on the other side of the coin)
New Norfolk v Hobart
New Norfolk will either win by a lot or it will be relatively tight. Hobart is seriously lacking the height to go with New Norfolk but they do have quite a bit of speed which will be an advantage on Boyer if used correctly.
Lauderdale v Kingborough
I think the ‘dale might get up in this one and I reckon it will be close.
Glenorchy v Brighton
Glenorchy by a big margin

I do wish you guys would stop blowing smoke up Lauderdale's `chimney'!
Clarence by 25 points
Norfick by 10-12 goals.
Kingston by 30 points.
Glenorchy by 20 goals.
All games will still draw the ********** poor crowds they have been getting all year. The Devils not playing won't benefit them at all!

For us ex-pat North Hobart followers can someone tell how much the side has differed in personnel since their premiership in 2003?

4/4 what can I say? What a tipster!
And more or less got the margin right in the middle two games, too!
********** Stockdale and Co off from the Mercury!
I reckon Tigers 1945 and I should take over Media Coverage of local football!
Your thoughts Tiges?

I think we'd do a better job Barge :)
Being that it's 2005, I cannot for the life of me see why there is almost zero coverage of Tasmanian football on the radio.
Surely they could commentate one match, or do a magazine type program where they go around the state and cover every league match that is played, giving updates throughout the afternoon from every league.
Sort of like how they do it on the BBC with the English Football (Premier League, Championship, League 1 & 2)
At the end of the day read out a final summary of all matches played throughout the state from every single league.
Surely to Christ they can find 40-odd competant people to report through the scores to the station, hopefully getting them right
Although what it I've seen in recent years, I begin to wonder.
