Couldn't help be concerned about the article in yesterday's Age newspaper about what Mick Malthouse was quoted as saying what he thought of our Sam.
I say to the Board .... sign Sam now ... pronto, urgently. We know Eddy believes Collingwood are the AFL and wants all the champions within it wearing black and white stripes.

Collingwood coach Michael Malthouse last night described Hawthorn's Sam Mitchell as the best in-and-under player since Carlton's legendary Greg Williams after he had 18 clearances, a record since clearance statistics have been kept.
Mitchell was Hawthorn's best player at the MCG yesterday and was pretty much unstoppable in the Hawthorn midfield collecting 16 kicks and 23 handballs.
Most impressive about Mitchell, according to Malthouse, is his ability to get the ball and break tackles himself.
"Greg Williams retired several years ago but I tell you, if Mitchell hasn't taken his role . . . he's phenomenal that bloke," Malthouse said.
"He is as good as I've seen since Williams. He is just an absolute magnet, I've never seen a player get caught that often and still able to use the footy.
"Mitchell is in the top echelon. He is as good as I've seen in close since . . . Greg Williams. So he was more of a worry than anything else, that's why Dane Swan in the end was a terrific, very, very good performance for us in the last quarter."
Regarded as the poster boy for players who have worked their way up into football, Mitchell won the National AFL Rising Star award in 2003 after winning the VFL's Liston Trophy in 2002.
