SHC Football...Potential Draftees and Results

Having watched SHC, and other SA college football matches for a long time i can see that this years SHC team is just as good as any other years... After a slow start, just beating Westminder and then cruising to comfortable wins vs ST Michaels and Immanuel, i can see that there may be some potential draftees in this team... the obvious one is Sam Elliott- undenyably one of the best footballers to come through the school..hard at it and silky smooth footballer, alot like a dal santo or hird....2: Tom Payne- maybe a smokey if he can show scouts his dedication to the game...super quick, super leap and great hands.. almost same mould as last years draftee Danny Myer..3- Lochie Button- yr 11 so has another yr left in him to mature..stands at 6'6 and dominates ruck and around the ground..great skills for a big man and can play up forward...jeff white type player...4: Aaron Day- another yr 11 that has made state teams and played in yr 10..CHF who is hard and a good grab.. reads the play and too quick for most CHB's...john brown type player who can ruck...5:Richard OGrady- yr 10 who has the bulk and size to play league football...lifts the most out of any junior at glenelg FC and is a super talent...barring injuries, a definate 2007 draftee...barry hall type who can play on ball

Lochie Button will get drafted too, the kid is a gun, at 6'6 and dominating the ruck in yr 11, also has good skills and is a very strong mark, wil go high in next years draft.

I play footy in the year 10a comp. My list for the year 10s at hearts is:

Richard O'Grady: Hes huge and has worked really hard on his skills, kicking both feet and has good skills at ground level

Tom Macnamarra: Another big kid, not as solid as richard but still very good, great hands, long acurate kick and a fair leap on him.

Nick Ramsey: Great skills both sides of his body, hard at it, great skills at ground, agile, athletic.

Hamish Hartlett: The kid is a star. Plays on the ball up forward. Great kick, strong hands hard at it, very balanced.

There have been players ive seen from other schools that are also pretty good but dont no their names.

Yeh i think he did go to woodcroft or sumin lik that, but i think he went to sacred heart becuase his cousin, David King, went through the school.

sorry scottroo but tom macnamara went to cardine college at norlunga and NOT woodcroft. he went to shc for personal reasons. take from someone who is mates with the bloke and obviously u arent coz u cant even get close to spelling the blokes name right so b4 u start taking guesses about things, u should learn some facts

also another player to look out for in the future, a bloke by the name of aled loy. currently the captain of the sacred heart year tens. this guy can play in more than ten positions on the ground. absolute star and one to keep an eye on.
