Hi all,

Just a question to those who tuned in to the first episode of 'Boston Legal' on Tuesday night, what did you think?

I taped it, watched it back last night, and I really liked it - which is what I expected as I was a big 'Practice' fan (as well as a fan of Ally McBeal in the first few seasons before it got stupid).

I just hope the show stays closer to 'The Practice' (i.e. realistic), as opposed to 'Ally McBeal'... :rolleyes: As long as the storylines remain realistic, I believe the characters will be interesting enough for the show to rate pretty well.

Thoughts?

I never watched the Practice or Ally McBeal but I enjoyed it. Is this one of the shows that was cancelled a few weeks ago?

Yeh pretty impressed with the first episode. Although I can see it getting worse :o

What I'm saying is that The Practice and to a far lesser extent Boston Legal (it's only early), featured more realistic storylines (i.e. cases) - compared to Ally McBeal.

I'm not saying that the characters on these TV shows would represent your average law firm down the road. But certainly some of the cases from the Practice would be "real-life" kind of stuff.

Isn't Denny Crane just a lawyer version of George W Bush ? ;)

Rats I missed it - Thanks for reminding me guys. By the promos looked like my sort of show - a bit from left field. Will catch it next week.
